Taking headlight apart anybody?
Has anybody had experience, maybe with older cars taking headlight apart to remove the orange reflector. Also if light is apart one can install angel lights at least in place of the city lights (the ones by high beam bulbs).
Here is what I found done for camry,

My understanding it's pretty much the same for any car. Nice part about GLK I noticed yesterday is that there are plastic clips that hold clear plastic and headlight housing, which should make it easier putting headlight back together. I'm kind of hesitant to try as I had tried it on my older cars, although I think the hardest part would be to actually take the headlights out.

I cleared and blacked out the headlights on my 99 Acura TL before. When done right, the results could be very good. I was happy with what I did on my car back then. My only concern is condensation if it is not sealed properly afterwards. I was lucky that there was none. But if it does it will be a pain in the neck, not to mention potential damage to the HID bulbs and adapative mechanism inside
