Just Learned a new Key Function
If you forgot to close a window, just aim your key at the drivers door handle about 2 to 3 feet away and hold down the lock function for 3 seconds all the windows and sunroof will close. Also you can open everything by holding down the unlock button. Remember to aim your key at the handle, if not it wont work. The good news is that you don't have to go back in your car if you forget to close something. Also opening everything cools the car off faster here in Florida... Frank

This is better than "global unlocking/locking", see page 69 of the operator's manual. There you grasp/touch the driver door handle to unlock/lock all doors. Except no mention made about windows.
Also, on page 64, it says the turn signals flash 3 times and the acoustic warning sounds 3 times after you lock all doors and lift gate. No mention about windows either. The sunroof could be wide open even when you get the 3 and 3 feedback!

I've done this with the SLK too, can drop and close the top in the same way.
As mentioned you have to be a relatively close distance to the little IR receiver on the door handle and nothing can come between the remote and the receiver or the IR will be interrupted.

Well I guess half the fun is find new things about your car. For those who have Keyless you can also close your windows with your thumb.
