Iphone/Winter Tires/Car Seat Summary
Thanks to everyone for the info/advice posted.
Just picked up a new 2010 GLK - loaded (I mean the car) without the back seat entertainment.
I searched for answers to my questions on these forums and wanted to share how things worked out.
1. Ordered car September 17, 2009, came in November 2. (Montreal)
2. Ordered the winter tire package through the dealership. Mags and Pirelli Scorpion 17"ers for $2400 +tx. I was worried how they'd look, but they look great and I'd highly recommend 17" winter tires.
3. Iphone 3GS - works great. Had to buy the PASSPORT SCOSCHE (futureshop $39.95) adapter as the MB connector does not recharge the phone. Also, could not import contact list so I used the MB address book.
4. We have a 1 year old. Uses a Grayco rear-facing car seat. My wife is ok in the front seat but its too tight for me. We put him in the middle on longer drives and it works great. The back seat has more room than I thought it would.
Love the car, replaced a B-Class. The B was fun to drive, but this is a whole new level. Bring on the winter!
