I just drove from Atlanta to Ft Lauderdale and managed to get 26.2 mpg's with the AC on. I'm curious if any one is getting some decent mpg with their GLK and under what conditions?

Wow. That's good.
Details. We need Details!
How many miles on the GLK?
What Gasoline?
Average driving speed?
C or S?
How many people in the car?
Tire inflation?
What kind of Tire?
Measured or computer readout?
How accurate is the readout? Most are not "consistent".

GLK 4Matic
...and to continue with RedRover's questions
what color is your hair?
what sign are you?
are you a cat person or a dog person?
paper or plastic?
up or down?
Just kidding of course. That is really good. We still haven't been on any long road trip so I can't say what we'd get but we regularly get 24/25 mpg at around 65/70 mph. I was hoping there wasn't going to be too much loss of mpg with our 4matic.

Cool.
Mid grade gas?
Any knocking or pinging?
(In my mind, mid grade should be fine. Nearly all cars today have knock sensors. When the sensors detect the sound of preignition, the computer dials back the timing. This is a constant sampling/adjusting cycle. It defies the imagination to think that Mercedes wouldn't do this. But, my sales guy was adamant that the gLK requires 91 octane)
Anyway, I drive a bit faster than that........pretty much 5 over......so that puts me at 75 or even 80 on the interstates.
But you did very, very well.

No pinging or knocking and fantastic Sirius radio going south in FL. I usually use 89 or 93 and can't seem to find 91 octane. What oil/gas company specifically has 91 Octane?
Cool.

Pretty much! It has lumbar support and I did play with the seat controls until it felt right. The passenger had me remove the head cushion on the rear seat so she could be fully reclined. She slept and I cruised I75 & the FL parkway listening to some great SAT radio. In town I'm still getting a decent 20-22 mpg.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Here I have 20's pirrellis, drive in S, fill up "ultimate" at BP (the top grade with 93? octane) in NJ.
I get:
20 mpg going 80-90
22 mpg going 65-75
16-18 in town going 25-50 with occasional stops.
13-15 driving in NYC
This is quite interesting:

So I think at a steady 55mph GLK can def get 24-26 range.
