Just kidding of course. That is really good. We still haven't been on any long road trip so I can't say what we'd get but we regularly get 24/25 mpg at around 65/70 mph. I was hoping there wasn't going to be too much loss of mpg with our 4matic.
How many miles on the GLK? 1200
What Gasoline? mid grade
Average driving speed? 67-70 mph
C or S? C
How many people in the car? 2 with the back seats down and loaded with luggage, coolers, boxes of food, etc.
Tire inflation? normal inflation ??? it only went over 1k miles.
What kind of Tire? Continental 235-50-19
Measured or computer readout? Computer & Measured (fill-up and normal math computations with gas quantity/mileage since last reading)
How accurate is the readout? Most are not "consistent". Who knows?

Mid grade gas?
Any knocking or pinging?
(In my mind, mid grade should be fine. Nearly all cars today have knock sensors. When the sensors detect the sound of preignition, the computer dials back the timing. This is a constant sampling/adjusting cycle. It defies the imagination to think that Mercedes wouldn't do this. But, my sales guy was adamant that the gLK requires 91 octane)
Anyway, I drive a bit faster than that........pretty much 5 over......so that puts me at 75 or even 80 on the interstates.
But you did very, very well.

I get:
20 mpg going 80-90
22 mpg going 65-75
16-18 in town going 25-50 with occasional stops.
13-15 driving in NYC
This is quite interesting:

So I think at a steady 55mph GLK can def get 24-26 range.
