GLK with.. ski rack!
for those curious to see it in action, here's a couple pics of my christmas present to... me 
roof rack 204-890-15-93 / 336.90$
deluxe ski/board mount 6-6-85-1703 / 276.10$
also pictured 17" replica wheels with winter tires. the guy that sold me the car told me i would love it in the snow, and every time i go in they ask me if i've driven it in the snow yet. well, after the first snow fall, i know exactly what the buzz is about!

Thanks for the pics! I've been looking to get the Mercedes ski rack too.
1 question though: I see that you got the deluxe ski rack... but I don't see how that can fit 4 snowboards or 6 ski's across. Are you suppose to lock them in with the waxed sides against another ski/snowboard?

Have a pair as well. Love how they slide. My only two complaints with this set-up is that it can only hold a limited amount of skis, and for some reason they pinched my roof rails.

My son and his two buddies spend many hours on their boards the day before we go... edging them and applying that perfect layer of wax. One year I made the mistake of racking my skis with their boards on the bottom... as we left this is what I confronted standing next to the car...
