GLK 350 4Matic
Floor Mats

Hi all. New owner of a black 2010 GLK 350 4Matic. Glad I found this community as there is a lot I can learn from my fellow MB owners.

I'm interested in buying some OEM style all weather floor mats but would like to save a little $ and NOT buy them from the dealership. Can you guys help point me in the right direction to a reputable online seller?

Thanks!

Depending where you live (weather wise), I just got a set of WeatherTech, FloorLiners for my GLK. They are a great fit and cover a lot more of your carpet than the regular style all-weather mats.

I am using an all-weather rubber mats OEM which is black in color and cleaner looking.
IMO, the Weather Tech stuff is too plain and looks like all other style of mats.

I think what he is trying to say is that a lot of us here got the OEM All Weather Mats thrown in for free when we purchased our cars. The OEM All Weather Mats are an easy throw in because of the low whole sale price the dealerships pay for them. The problem with that is, it would appear that the original poster has already purchased his GLK and its most likely too late for him to get them thrown in for free. I have however heard of people buying vehicles and then getting all weather mats thrown in a couple weeks later after complaining.

thanks chilledbenz for the clarification
I guess that would depend on how much discount one receives in order to get something 'thrown in with your money'

Thanks for the replies so far.

It would have been smart of me to have asked for the OEM all weather mats to be included when I purchased the vehicle. However, I've had no complaints at all about the GLK thus far, feel like I paid a pretty fair price for it, and wouldn't feel right going back to my salesman and making up a complaint just so I could get free floor mats.

I will have to keep an eye out on eBay to see if there are any good deals available.

You are right, they look just like the MB OEM Mats.

Prius; 2010 E350 Coupe P2, Appearance Package
I bought set of the MBZ all weather floormats, front and rear, for my new 2010 E350 coupe. Cost me $75 total from the dealership. Also got the MBZ trunk liner and that was $65. I thought those prices were excellent.

Floor mats

I am in SK , lots of snow
I put Weather Tech in my GLK
my wife bought a 2009 C230 4matic
about a month later, she asked the Dealer
to put in OEM mats. She took them back and
ordered a set of Weather Tech mats. So much
more protection.

In my personal experience, got the all weather liners (deeper than the "mats"). The OEM were cheaper than the ones from weathertech who makes the OEM ones anyway I am told. They look great.

I have the Weathertech digital 'mats' in our GLK and frankly think the driver's side was not mapped correctly. It is a little small it seems and will slide back and forward a little. Anyone else notice this? First Weathertech product that doesn't seem to fit perfectly.

I'm debating between All Weather Mat or Liner. I think I'm leaning toward the liner. Does anyone else have the liner?

I have the liners. They fit perfectly. My only minor beefs are:

- Driver side left footrest area doesn't go as high up as the stock "mats" or the all weather "mats", revealing the carpet below.
- Driver side liner stops at the accelerator pedal. I was hoping it had a slit and would fit around it, but it does not. It is unlikely you will get anything that severe behind the foot pedal anyway tho. I think this is consistent on all the mats.

If you purchased your GLK from a good sales rep, you might want to ask him/her to buy it at an employee price and then you paying him back. The cost for employee is around 40% less then retail from the parts department. Well worth it. I'm sure if you promised your sales rep to refer some future customers , they will be nice to you..

Just to get thru the Ohio snowy weather, my husband bought some heavy indoor-outdoor doormats with the heavy rubber backing and cut them to fit. They look and work great. No worries about water ruining the carpet!

I just got the OEM MB Floor Liners made by Weather Tech for MB and they fit like a charm...I just wished they made something for the middle hump in the rear.

Bought the OEM rubber mats right after we purchased the car in July 2009. The driver's mat has worn significantly to the point that the word "benz" is almost gone and there is a small hole worn through. All of this with 7K miles total. It is driven by my wife...no boots or high heels! These appear to be inferior products. All of the other mats are fine.

I bought the MB All Weather Floor Liners (the deep ones) for all seats and cargo. I like them except the two for the rear seat move around. Front don't move at all. But rear move every time. It really bothers me a lot.

Anyone else have this issue?

I got the all-weather mats from the dealer when I bought the car. They fit nice, hold a lot of muck and spray off real well at the car wash. Call me vain but I like the MB logo on options. That little collapsing crate with the tri-pointed star on it in the cargo bay is a cheap but neato touch. I'm going to order another one.
