Service Campaign 2009110004 DEC09 rear lift-gate stops may not be adjusted to specification if not adjusted properly the gate may contact the body when driving on rough roads dealer will adjust stops. Have your dealer check VMI to see if your vehicle is included in this campaign if so repair is covered by MB at no cost to owner. Approximately 14,203 vehicles are affected.

Bulletin does not list VIN range, checking VMI is the only way to confirm if your vehicle is included.

Had mine adjusted at the 5K tire rotation a few weeks ago (the service advisor informed me of it). Hatch seems to "stick out" a little more than before which is in line with the service campaign.
