so i had my first service last week, and the service advisor also said they took care of a recall issued for glk's. they had to adjusted the rear truck lid stop buffer. i asked how come i didn't receive a notice and he said it's just being sent to the dealers, and when a glk comes in for service, to perform the recall.
so those of you that already had your first service, i guess make sure it was done. i haven't had any issues since MB replaced the motor for the power tailgate a year ago, but if a recall is issued....do it.
