Looking to purchase crossbars for my black GLK with black roof rails.

Thinking about the oem, but not fond of the height off the roof rails, anyone have pics.

I was also looking at Thule, but same problem...height.

I came across whispbar.com looks more like what I want, but now I am worried about sunrooof opening clearance.

Any thoughts?

Whilst I can't get you pictures as my son has the car in Boulder, I can tell you that the OEM factory cross bars look and fit great, (as does the OEM ski/snowboard carrier). I know it's more expensive but it certainly suits the car; well as much as any roof rack can.

Can you attach a Thule box and Thule ski rack to the OEM cross bars directly?
