I have been playing around with my navigation system since getting my GLK. I have noticed that any destinations that are not on a main road or highway has a message stating the area does not have turn by turn directions.
I can enter an address to say a friends house. The system actually does know where it is and has the correct information. It is just that after you get off of main streets or highways, you have to actually look at the map and directions for turns and stuff are no longer given.
Is this just my system? Do I have a setting or something that needs to be adjusted. Also, just to ask, is there any way to speak the name of a place like "Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts" and the system will find a POI by voice?
Thanks!

It has happened to me once so far. I left the highway and entered a resort area with numerous rental homes and condos. It is considered "private property" and the GPS gave me that message.
