Good DIY solution, but we use racing type alum. Hyd. Jacks... there is no center hole on the lifting plate, so your threaded pipe idea wouldn't work for us. So we modified the base of his tool so it doesn't slip. And it holds itself into place so there isn't a need to get on your belly to line-up anything with the recess lift points on the car. (Faster for pit crews)
