Who can install this?

On the forum people are talking about the headlight in the oven to get it apart. It has worked for some people but I cant do it. If someone gives it a try or finds a place who installs please post.

I was wondering how this would look like. Don't wanna be bimmer copycat, but this looks cool.

I think taking headlight apart is the hardest thing. Next hardest thing is finding those angel lights to fit that well.

Getting headlights open, black out the chrome, fitting angel eyes and/or removing amber is pretty common place. I did it to my previous car (1999 Acura TL) and it looked good. If you are handy it is not too difficult.

However, with headlights being very complex these days it is rather expensive to replace if you screw up. The process of baking / prying / opening is messey, and there is always risk of the headlight fogging up if you didn't seal it back properly.

If you can do it, it is not expensive and would look good. Just depends on how handy you are and how much would you risk.

I'd stay away from aftermarket headlights. They are usually cheaply made and fitment is often an issue. The light output is usually worse on aftermarket lights especially if they are projector type

Good post Tate.
Explains very simply the risks.
That's why, although I would like to have angel eyes....it will never happen.
