...looking for the chrome/brushed aluminum roof rails that some GLKs come with. My GLK has the matte black roof rails, looking for someone who may prefer the black look vs the shiny chrome look.

Let me know if anyone is interested in doing a swap.

I tried to get them to take mine off. It would have cost me 1500$. They said the entire interior roof has to be taken apart. So im not sure you would want to do that. If this wasnt the case I would give you my rails for free.

To access the retaining hex bolts the door jam gaskets need to be removed and part of the interior roof header needs to be pulled down. be careful because the side airbag curtains are in the vicinity but not a huge problem. I am ordering aluminum rails from the USA $480 US each vs. $900 CAN each in Canada. I will post some pics when I do the installation...my GLK is black and the aluminum will contrast vs the black rails which came standard due to the shortage when I purchased.

Chrome are part of the appearance package. Just keep the black and soon you will get used to it,
