Cleaning the interior

What do you use for cleaning the interior of your GLK? I'm most interested in the "leather" & dash/plastics.

I tried browsing through the Detailing forum, but it's overwhelming. I don't want to use a product that will somehow harm the interior, because I know it's a special kind of leather.

Thanks.

do you have leather package to begin with? If it's leather not sure, if it's MB-Tex, some sort of cleaning wipes would be fine.

As far as dash goes what's there to clean? Just dust it with damp cloth and you are good.

I just use the Armor All Gel, it's a yellow color, but when you apply it, it doesn't look shiny like the other kind. It seems to work good so far.

then no need for leather care. MB-Tex is vynil not leather, so anything made to clean vynil/plastic surfaces in car should be fine. I used ICE by turtle wax in liquid from (not spray) and it seemed to work fine for entire interior.

I think the only thing you should be careful about is black part around gear shifter, very easy to scratch so don't rub hard. Also Navi LCD should be taken car off with LCD cleaner used for monitors and such.

I use Ice Total Interior Care, made by turtle wax. Very easy to use, also try the Ice Exterior Care for the paint. Now that I think about it I use the Ice tire shine too. Comes with a nice brush on it to apply. The others come with microfiber cloth. Enjoy

Lexol's Vinylex, vinyl/plastic cleaner. spray that can be used all around, even fabric. no shine, just cleans and protect (UV).

But looking at other's suggestion on ICE, I might give that a try since its lotion, not a spray (spray alot messy to deal with)

I use products from Adams Polishes. They'll ship directly to you. The products are high quality and do an outstanding job. Check out the website for 'how to' videos and to help you pick products.
