Horsepower Upgrades

No they need the computer there, or I think it can be sent to them.

Rory is the guy I am dealing with there.
..According to Renntech i have to drive it around 150 miles for the changes to take full effect..I drove home on the Florida turnpike, 80 mph and it said 24.6 MPG,so he was right this went up,,I have to keep driving it to notice all the difference ,for the meantime it does feel a little stronger..PS they said I should get rid of the K&N's because the oil on the filters could clog up the electronics, or just take the oil off!!

The oil consumption is probably due to the final seating of the rings, valves, etc. The factory says new engines come all broken in but GLKs are famous for improving mileage with a few miles so I have to think there is still some break-in taking place.
I doubt you will have sludge on a new car; maybe some metal, tho...
5K is probaly OK for the first oil change; I'm doing mine at 3.5K just to be sure.
In my GLK i do about 310~320 miles per full tank depends on mid-grade or high octane gas. If the ECU upgrade increases this i'm definitely going to buy it. And also when I go about 80miles the consumption is about 19-20mpg. I appreciate your response. Thank you.

-bored at work so don't take it personally, but yes I'm making fun of you GLK ricers.

get back to work!!!-bored at work so don't take it personally, but yes I'm making fun of you GLK ricers.
alot has to be said about porsche and V6 engines and how its 450-500+ HP V6 engine can hit 0-100km in ~3.1 seconds and low 11 sec 1/4 miles. (is it all in the gear ratios and software).
