I need some parts for my factory installed Class II tow bar, but I’m confused and would appreciate help/advice.
I ordered the car (US-model), but delivery is end of July, therefore I can’t take measurements.
I want to have the “missing” parts available before I get my car, so I can use it right away.
I want to use the tow bar for a bike carrier, which is mounted on top of the hitch ball.

Am I correct that the Receiver tube size is 1 1/4 " ?

Now the confusion starts. I need a Class 2 ball mount and the hitch ball.

Looking at the different versions, I’m not sure which one I need.
For example, there are Ball Mounts with different Length (7 1/4”, 7 13/16", 9 ¾”, etc.) and Drop (1/4”, 1”, 3 ¼”, etc.).
What do I need?

What would be the correct hitch Ball? 1 7/8” or 2” ? I know it has to be for 3500 lbs.

Did I miss a part?

I think you might be better off asking on GL forum some of these questions. Very few of us have a hitch. I have one, but haven't used it. I do belive it's 1 1/4 receiver. Search for pdf of the car manual, might be able to get some answers there.
