2012 C Class CDI 2007 R Class
LED fogs?
Does anyone installed led fogs? I found the led lights but i think it also needs the plastic surrounds. Does anyone know how much that's gona cost and where to find a complete kit? I only found the Carllsson kit and no original like on the latest GLK.

Apparently new 2011 GLK in some countries already have standard LED fog/DLR, they are very similar to the LED in AMG package but not exactly the same.

Instead of taking away the orig fog, take a look of here, scroll down and see the LED day light (set)...it looks cool

Yeah...i notice that they have a matted look of bumper at that area. So it won't be workable in ours?

By the way, the L.E.D. lights found on the new Mercedes models are just running lights and do not serve as fog lights.

Here you go the pics. Yes, there are only DLR lights, not fogs. Fogs will be integrated within the headlight.

Led fog?? i think u need to install led load resistors in order to make it work... .but I think the LED fog light will look awesome..

"- how much that's gona cost": The price for the kit (only) is € 600, and there is a need for repainting, at a paint cost of may be € 80. The kit has to be ordered by separate part numbers, either for the GLK w/the Offroad package, or for the -Basic or Sports package.
GLK owners are considering having the work done at MB dealers, although Carlsson claims an "easy fitting", which I don't I think applies for all of us. Note the video, which shows installation of the LEDs on a C-class.

As you see, do they keep/install fog lights as well, and an option is to control the LEDs as parking lights together with low- or high-beam lights.

The led strips look very good blueacc333. Where did you get them? Are they hard to instal? Can you post some pics on how do the look on daylight...

Look really bright at night time, like fog light output..lolz.. but in day time.. not as good.. not bright .. but nice and clean..... whats your email... i will send u the pix and link if u want to get it.. I think its $15 for a pair for the 12 inches one..50%off sale... cheaper for the 6 inches one..... they are very easy to install.. 3M double taped ready.. all connections and plugs included.. one more thing.. all waterproof and weatherproof.. good stuffs..
