2010 vs 2011 GLK
I have been looking on-line to see what the differences are in the 2010 and 2011 GLK. I cannot find much that much of a difference other than a AMG package, new back-up camera, and other minor items. There appears to be no major changes and appearance is the same.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
I've been through the 2011 specs and could only find one change from the 2010 model. Burl Walnut Wood trim is now standard and Brushed Aluminum trim is now an option. It was reversed for the 2010 model year.
On the options front there are a few more changes for the U.S. Spec 2011 model year.
Mbrace replaces Tel Aid.
The Lighting Package now includes l.e.d. running lamps.
Harmon/Kardon system now available as a stand alone option.
Keyless Go now available as well.

GLK, CLK, CLS
GLK Prices
When the GLK first came out as a 2010 model, the base price was 41,800. Then they raised it a few months after to 42,900, & now apparently it will be raised for a 3rd time!
Mercedes has also raised the price of the C, CLS, SL, & perhaps some other models as well that I'm not aware of. BMW has also increased some of their prices.
I guess that's the diff between German & Japanese/every other automakers....

A few different things
I just got my 2011 GLK 350 which is pretty much stock with the exception of the palladium silver paint and the $3XX ipod connector (which i then found out can only be controlled through the steering wheel mounted controls and is only displayed in the speedometer interface)
But now to the changes, my dad bout a 2010 GLK so i was able to compare a few things. The front/rear fog light switches are no longer on the turning light ***, they have their own two push buttons now besides the light selector wheel. Also, there is no longer a "0" mode on the lighting selector, it is just in automatic to begin with. Also, in the speedometer, the increments of the mph are displayed with different lines. The 0, 20, 40....and so on lines are still thick and bold. Now, the 10, 30, 50...and so on lines are a bit smaller than the 20 increments but are still larger than the ones between 0 and 10 and so on...
Maybe not the most useful blog, but just thought i would throw it out there

The starting price changed to $42,900 you are "forced" to get the 20" wheels and Aluminum roof-rail...

running board
to hornikel
Can you confirm that the depth of the running boards changed.
They are supposed to be smaller, 1 inch or so.
I can't find the source where I read it anymore
Thanks.
Disregard message. Just back from dealer. MY11 is about 1 inch smaller.

Still waiting to see if anyone has yet had the H&R srprings installed. Not sure if I want to be the first...I see there are some chrome surround fog lamps as a add on now and a chrome strip for the front and rear bumper.

Found some pics of the AMG Sport Package-equipped car.
Personally, I like the bumper and running lights.
But I hate DRLs as a concept - how does the other drive miss a large metal object coming down the road?
And I like the "old" twin spoke wheels better than these.
Some reviews I have read say the uprated suspension is too harsh for most people. I think the car handles well as-is, and I am not personally looking to turn it into a track car.
