Problems with Rain Sensing Wipers??
I have 5000kms on my glk 350 4matic and the last few rainstorms here in Toronto my wipers have not turned on automatically? Anybody encounter this?

You are aware that the wipers do not turn on automatically, aren't you?
The wiper stalk has to be past the first position above the "Stop/Off position. That is the position that would normally turn on the intermittent wiper function on cars without the automatic controls.

Ok...Let me re-phrase that....
My rain sensing wipers..do not "sense" the rain anymore. Example; They would automatically wipe my windshield when it would sense rain on the windshield" Now it does not.

We have not encountered this problem, and given rain sensor does not respond in either "low - or high sensitive" positions, is the GLK Operator's Manual, section Problems with wipers advise:
"If the windshield wipers fail to function at all with the combination switch in position
... or ....,
"If the windshield wipers fail to function at all with the combination switch in position
... or ....,
- set the combination switch to the next higher wiper speed
- have the windshield wipers checked at the nearest authorized Mercedes-Benz Center"

The rain sensing device is behind the rear view mirror attached the the windscreen. Have you had a mirror "accident". It is possible that the sensor is no longer making contact with the windscreen??

Thanks to all who responded. This minor issue was resolved at the dealer. And everything is back to normal. Thanks again!!

2015 GLK wiper issue
daughters car wipers were not coming on. Checked fuse #10 30 amp in front good. Fuse 38 15 amp in rear in wrong slot was in slot 40. Replaced 15 amp in slot 38, front wipers not working still. Ok maybe I am a total nub, but, for the rest of us nubs, The FRONT FRICKING HOOD HAS TO BE CLOSED COMPLETELY> shut the hood and they worked. daugh.. placed on intermittent and took spray bottle with water and wipers came on. So after you replace fuses you must shut front hood.
