AUX In?
Hi all,
I basically have a stock GLK when it comes to electronics. I was under the impression that the jack in the glove box was an aux in jack. So if I got a 3.5mm cable male on both ends then i could plug into a portable audio device and glove box and listen. Of course I would have to control from the device, but at least it would play something portable.
I tried it and didn't work. I wasn't sure if there was a special way to get to the AUX through the menus.
Is that an AUX jack? Can someone tell me how to use it?

It is an aux jack. You have to select that input in order to hear the sound. Put the audio system in Disc mode and then use the command knob to scroll over to the "CD" option in the bottom menu on the screen, select it and choose the Aux option.
