side mirror turn signal question
Does anyone know when the yellow signal light at the side mirror will on when triggering the turning signal? I try to test it when I first start the car in the garage, it works. When I have a chance to drive another car in front of the glk (my wife was driving it), when I looked into the rear mirror, I only saw the turning signal above the headlights was on, not at the side mirror. It was in the day light time.
Is it depending on the ambient light? or the speed of the car? or something else?

the ambler lights on the mirror have the lens that it is visible on the side of the car. It is difficult to see in the front cuz the head turn light does that job.

I experienced the same as 'ryhchan' one day. After that I walked around the car to figure it out and I can confirm "yualfred's" posting.
You don't see it from the front, just from the side. You also can check it when you sit in the car and look at the edge of the mirror. Now you can see the amber light.
