Just had the ipod integration installed at the dealer.... to my surprise... I can't seem to control the ipod through the comand thingy.... only throught the steering wheel/driver's side screen thingy. Is there a way to control it through the comand thing? I really hope there's a way... I coudn't figure it out by looking at the IPod owners manual. I'm not really a techy guy. Everything just worked easily in my previous bmw.

Also, my bluetooth is working but it's not loading my contacts. I have the LG env touch..

Not sure about either as I have blackberry and don't use ipod in the car. But this has been discussed to death a year or so ago so I would search older threads!

Yup, I believe that it can only function through the steering wheel controls. Annoying but true.
