spring booster? do u mean... sprint booster?
i believe it just starts giving a stronger signal on throttle to the ECU and somehow tricks it to give u more power off the bat, do be aware that you need to cut the carpet and a bit of the fire thingys to get it installed.
I wouldnt install it tbh, not worth the hassle and the chance of voiding warranty because of ECU faults.

too funny
GLK has pretty short 1st gear and peak torque at 2k rmp along with AWD. I think that shoe is all you need if your muscles are not quick/strong enough to push the pedal hard. Don't think that EUC tweaking will do anything significant or even noticable.

hey buddy, have u even try the sprint booster before? i used for 3 of my cars, it works awsome, n make the car move a lot smooth, n it just plug n play, and it won't void the warranty, no harm to ECU

I do wonder what the blackbox would look like in a crash (nope we can't identify the throttle position so this person must of been going full throttle into the other car)

I don't even get what it's supposed to accomplish. According to you it's awesome and makes your car smoother...???
I initially thought it's supposed to make car more responsive not smoother. Sounds like bunch of BS and self illusion to me.

Actually, these *throttle amplifiers* should be banned if nothing else as a scam. A few years ago a manufacturer (whose name I will not mention since they are a major MBWorld advertiser) came to the track where we run and asked if a few of us would like to try them out. I wasn't interested but a few were. I cannot tell you how fast those things were given back... faster than you can say "here... take this sh*t back!!!”
In most FBWire cars, these units override the throttle output so that the ECU believes you are depressing the peddle more than you are. You can basically achieve the same result by gluing a thick wooden block to the top of your gas peddle and applying the same foot pressure you normally do when driving. (Please do not take this idea seriously...thank you).
What's wrong with everyone? Why not simply depress the gas peddle more? Too lazy? What?
Any competent driver should be able to drive their car better without this PoS attached to it. Check out what happened to this poor MBWorld member. Link:

its ok guys, i will just get some BRABUS and AMG stickers and my GLK will go 10 times faster than a sprint boosted car. stickers add 20HP EACH. Custom made card board spoiler will also decrease drag co-efficient so the car will be faster.
I'm pretty sure i'll be paying about 10 bucks or so for these upgrades, 30 times cheaper than a sprint booster and i'll have a better result in turning heads.
