Calling all Dunlop Owners
I have averaged around 12k miles since purchasing my GLK new. It has the OEM Dunlop tires(235/50-19). When I took it to my local dealer to be serviced at 11k miles I had them rotate the tires due to them wearing down rather quickly. According to the mb dealership, "all tires wear down", but I'm not stupid. Is this quick wear due to a cheap tire or are all other GLK owners having the same issue regardless?

Yup we know all about it... you got stuck with the Dunlop's, just like I did. You may wish to read this: Link:https://mbworld.org/forums/glk-class...re-owners.html
Then again, you may not!

Da**. This all reminds me of the crap Cooper Brand Tires did years back. Instead of recalling a bad tire, they continued to sell the tire because it was cheap to produce and more expensive to discontinue. They only halted the sell after a few deaths caused by blowouts. Let's hope MB does something about this before it goes that far. I'll be making a trip to mb of Memphis this afternoon to see about getting new tires at no cost or at a great discount. This won't be my first trip up there to complain.

I have 26 K on my 2010 Pirelli's and they still look great. Sorry about the Dunlops.
