Hi all,

I'm running a 3.5mm cable from the glove box to the center console. Everything is good so far. used velcro in the glove box so it isn't just hanging around tucked the wire into the console as the wire travels to the back of the center console.

My plan to get it into the console is through the rear part. I am able to get the rear vents + vent housing off. But I cannot get the rear compartment that holds the ashtray and rear 12V plug out. I need to take it out because if I run the cable through that compartment the ashtray door won't close fully.

Has anyone taken that part out or know of any instructions that will show me how to remove the rear ashtray + 12V plug door?
