UMI BT paired but won't connect streaming music
Title says it all. I got the bluetooth paired, its named umi something with a little headphone next to it, in addition to the phone bt connection, so its paired but it wont't connect.
I scrool through all the options
devices connected
search for a device
etc...
and on my phone I select the connection and tell it to connect
nothing
my phone does support a2dp
any ideas

Bluetooth is for the phone (cell service) itself. You can't stream music through BT at least on the phones that I am aware of.

Without some of our aftermarket kits, the Bluetooth system installed by Mercedes will not support A2DP (bluetooth streaming) of music. It support telephone connections only (which are treated differently than music or data streaming).

i had to make a new account this place took over my fb account....
anyway, if I get lucky I can pair it to the streaming music, but it won't connect. I believe this feature is supposed to be supported. has anybody figured out how to get this working?
phone bluetooth is working fine, although I did get in a bit of a panic when I unpaired it trying to pair the music streaming, this UMI is not completely intuitive, especially when driving, lol
