There's a chance your garage opener is a "rolling code" one. In that case, follow the MB owners manual. you would need to press the "learn" button on the garage opener unit and then run back to you car to finalize the steps. Good luck! (i know this cause i just replaced an old opener with a new rolling code one and couldn't get it programs for a good 15 mins, lol)

The GLK can be programmed for rolling codes. As the above post states, you have to use the "learn" button on the garage opener and then within the time frame that the manuafacturer gives you, correctly program your car buttons. I have 2 rolling code openers and my GLK and CLK55 can open either or both doors.

After I have seen this thread, I tested my GLK over the weekend and got my button worked with my rolling code garage door. Thanks tomtomtomtom!!!
I did the followings:
Step 1: Get my button 1 (anyone of three) to learn my garage door remote. It has learned some other remotes before. But I did it anyway. I press and hold button 1 until I see the indicator light is blinking, then press and hold the garage remote button (GRB) for 2 sec, release GRB, press and hold GRB again...Unsuccessful after a couple trys.
Step 2: Reset all 3 GLK buttons - pressing button 1 and 3 at the same time for 20 seconds until I see the indicator light blinks rapidly, then release both
Step 3: Repeat Step 1, now successful. Press and hold button 1, then press and hold my GRB for 2 seconds, release GRB only, then re-press GRB for 2 seconds, and I see the indicator light blinks rapidly, meaning it learns successfully.
Step 4: Press the "Learn" button at my garage opener above my head, within 30 sec, run back to my GLK and press and hold that button 1. Then I see my garage opener light blinks twice to notify me it works...I am a happy man.
I love my GLK a little bit more everyday...
