yeah they never came with applicators lolll
you can buy the cleaner fluid pad for the Cleaner fluid
wax wise, you can use the palm of your hand or get a wax applicator
but you cant use your hand for the cleaner fluid.

Over priced and ripped off again. Some of us tried to warn you! Time to go to Target, Pep-Boys, Advance Auto Parts, NAPPA etc.

Different people, different interest, I say respect people's choices and not blatantly say over priced and ripped off.

While I know the feeling of when you get the new car and want to put all this fancy stuff, I'm with MBRedux. Most important thing is how you wash your car. Other stuff is just marketing. It's not a show car, it's an every day car. All this nice shine is covered with layer of dust after two days.
Here is a coat of Nufinish after winter from last year. I'd like to see how much different the car would look like with those fancy waxes.

I know you warned me, but I still wanted to try, there were so many posts that had so many acclades of Swissvax. Its like paying 45,000 for GLK that gets a bad review, poor gas millage, and poor safety rattings.
So what the heck 228.28 aint going to hurt much!

NYCGLK, nice Pix! I agree with you and MBRedux its' an everyday car. Here on the East coast the likelihood of keeping the car clean for more than a few days is near to impossible. Unless you keep it in the garage and then who gets to see it.

thanks Ken, you are right, but actually my car sits in the parking garage a lot as I take bus to work, which is why I don't mind detailing it few times a year and it stays relatively clean. I just don't see how those more expensive products are gonna make it look any better. This new MB paint is really good, I don't think it needs any of those expensive coats to make it shine. You just need something to keep the dust/water away.

I sadly dont have a DSLR or a camera for that matter but heres a pic of my GLK parked next to a SL500 at a car meet. My iPhone 4 pictures looks craptastic ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

1 layer of Swissvax Concorso
Swissvax Pneu on the tires (lasted about 4 washes)
Swissvax Autobahn on Rims (3 months and counting)
I actually also got the door jambs sealed with Swissvax Shield =p
but yeah i still stare at it with awe especially my hood when I drive. Pictures dont do some of these waxes justice.

Ha cool, that's a smart move. I pass that hotel almost every day on my way to the gym. PM me if want to grab a drink. I live 2 miles away from that hotel.
I go to NY show every year, too, it's like all dealerships in one place for a week.
P.S. OP, Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Nice Pics NYCGLK,
The back drop of the city is cool, I'm anxious to take some pics as well of mine but still have a bit of snow in the country, so the roads are still dirty and mucky in some areas, I'm putting on the 20" today for the first time, haven't driven with them yet. I'll be detailing mine in the next couple of weeks so I'll post pictures then.

The only one I can see "warn you" in OP's first post on the subject detailing, is you - which apparently haven't used Swissvax. Swissvax products are used worldwide by car owners, who would disagree with you - as I do.

He forgot to use "crap" or "crappy" though, which is frequently seen when products are in question, that he is not in favor of (or doesn't recognize).

kyoshiro's picture of the SL500/GLK sort of points towards the difference, looking at the sides of the vehicles, although the angle from which the picture is shot does not pay "full justice" of the SL.

I don't think so, unless one can consider online stores being local.
Given you may live in North America, are references to Swissvax US Online Store: https://mbworld.org/forums/newreply....eply&p=4614229
and - Canada: http://www.swissvax.ca/merchant.mvc?..._Code=swissvax.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
OK on metals, like Aluminum, Chrome etc.
