hit the curb
I was driving my wife GLK on the weekend. I was backing up straight to a stall and the rear wheels hit curb on the ground. It is under 5 km/h. Big deal! She said I damaged her car and so. I said it is a SUV and even a car there should be fine but she still think I damaged her car. May be you guys can put in 2 cents so she will change her mind that no damage have been done to her car.

unless she sees a bend in the rim or its riding funny, it should be fine. We do have quite low profile tires + big rims tho, easier to bend but I highly doubt <5km/h rearing into curb will be enough force to bend it

I ran over a curb in winter going in snow. Felt like a pretty hard hit, but luckily didn't scratch the rim.
I think because rims are so big and tires are skinny any hard bump seems that much worse.

Post a picture of the damage. Most people here are saying its no big deal.
Would any of you be willing to say that is was no big deal if the dealer had done it to your car while it was in the shop?

It's possible that she was in the vehicle at the time with him behind the wheel. She could have freaked since every bump feels like a huge impact with our GLK's
