My local MB dealer/servicer replaced the brake fluid in our GLK 350 at the 20,000 mile service interval. My only real problem with things such as brake fluid replacement and transmission fluid replacement is... did they really do it? How could I possibly know. I'm not saying the MB shop didn't, but I'm sure I was screwed by an independent service shop a few years ago when they sold me the brake fluid and transmission fluid deal.

2007 R350 auto..
mb dealer not even for a picture1

I do all maintenance in my 2007 R350 I learn my lesson with the dealer! they will mess with your car just to make you comeback and rip you off! I haven doing the all tune up oil change, thermostat replaced I just replace both rear air bags they want $1700 to fix it! I spend $430 total brand new air bags and diagnostic to make sure whats going on with your car, it was so easy it took me 2 hours to do it ! im not a mechanic but just require to have a bit a common sense and some tools best investment that you can make a good 2 tons floor jack and some sockets all kinds different bit all you need and of course youtube for free you can get all parts oem or original online EBAY also it does not to be you model exactly all of them have the same suspension same parts or component in the videos good luck! if you have any question I would be glad to answer it ,,,god bless you

I used to do virtually all of my own service and repair, too. But, at age 67 I can't do much more than wash my cars these days. So, I have little choice but to trust my the folks that service my cars.

One thing, though. If I ever catch them cheating, I'll expose their behavior to the local public.

Do you have any idea what kind of law suit the dealer would open themselves up to if the didn't do what they said they were going to do? Did you ever think what might happen to the dealer if MB catches wind of an incident like that. They might loose their franchise.

The MB dealer may be expensive but I will assume that they do what they say they will do.
