General log on question.

Is there a setting that doesn't log you off every time you leave the site for a short while? The radio control model site I frequent uses the same forum as this but keeps you logged in till you log off which most people never do. They have over 340,000 members world wide so volume is not a problem. I've looked over the FAQ's and user CP but didn't find anything. Thanks.

First thing you need to do is log into the site after you do that then save the site to your favorites list depending on the web browser you use. I use Google Chrome and when I click on the link it brings me to the GLK forum and I am logged in.

Thanks Ken, that sounds easy enough.
Hmmm, works on my model site also. See,you can teach old dogs new tricks, at least easy ones.
Oooops. If you open it this way you cannot move anywhere else on the web site. Bummer.

You are welcome, you can if you want turn on "Remember Passwords" depending on your browser you will find that setting and you can tell the browser to remember passwords site by site. This is useful for sites that won't log you in automatically but when you go the the log in page of the site the blanks will be filled in and all you have to do is just hit "Enter".
