Why, for all of their off road marketing speak, can't we have the off road version? Or, as a minimum, the same wheels+tires they used for their off road movies? My guess is the MBUSA Marketing Focus Groups were made up of grocery getters, soccer mom's, & folks who think huge whhels and rubber band tires are cool. Folks whose definition of off road is a mall parking lot.

I can't speak for something I haven't driven yet. More after the first of the year when I've got a couple thousand miles under the tires. In fact, the tempation to drive to North Carolina for Thanksgiving is very tempting.

Volvo OSD: You're killing me. The GLK started out to be a factory delivery XC70 next summer.

I wouldn't mind their black wheels.
But, save for snow & the rare grassy knoll in my zip code, I've always believed that more rubber on asphalt is a good thing.
We are now debating driving to Asheville, NC via the Blue Ridge again vs. going to the concrete jungle of NYC in December.
The GLK can take it as seen in those MB YouTube testing vids but I still cringe @ going over the craters of Metropolis!

Do NYNY on the train.
Go south. Get high young man. There are some very interesting looking squiggly roads on the map between Boone & Asheville west of the BRP. Boone is a neat not too little college town. Up high and higher mountain roads all around. Not at all like the grown up "big" city of Asheville. We are hoping to let our GLK play in the snow at Christmas.

Yeah, their OSD program is second to none...
Flew into Stockholm for the day, went to Gothenberg the next day, picked up the car, drove to Malmo, crossed over the Orsund bridge into Copenhagen, spent a week in Amsterdam, down to Lisse and Belgium, then back up to through Hamburg to ship it home. 18 days and 1800 miles, an absolutely amazing time, I would do it again in a heart beat if the wife wanted another Volvo. I wish MB had an OSD that was as generous as Volvo's, I would have waited and gone that route...

Here you go. Track & Trace is what you want after you have a VIN.

I like the XC60 and the C70 - I'm no too happy about the Geely sale though. I'd want to know for sure that it was being built in Sweden. I have the Polestar tune in her ECU, it gives about 300hp and the same for torque, and front and back sway bars, K&N's - it's a tight little car (she loves it, I can't get her to trade it in)...
