2012 GLK check engine light on
I bought a 2012 GLK 350 4matic on 10/14 and last week the check engine light on.
Should I keep driving it or not, I will go to the dealership on 11/21.
The car still run well.

Did you happen to fill up the gas tank right before the light turned on? It might just be the gas cap if so. But I'd take it in to be sure. No harm in having them check it. I had the gas cap issue show up on mine. Better safe than sorry.

No, I checked it before i made the appointment.
Before the GLK, I drove a 06 C230, and the light was on when i had driven it only for a few months. When I made the appointment for the C, the 1st question they asked is the gas cap.
So I checked it this time, and last sunday I filled up my car when the engine light on.
After the fill up, started the car, and the light was still on

If its running fine, chances are good it was nothing more than a small EVAP leak... will not harm engine... and will go out all by itself if given time. But if you do feel it isn't running well, then by all means take it in or have someone read the error code using an OBD-II reader.

Evap leak covers the evaporative recovery system that prevents gasoline vapor from being released into the atmosphere. Usually it just means the gas cap was being finicky. Other times it could be an actual leak in the system. There's a canister that stores the vapor to be burned off later. So it could be the canister or the lines to it.
You should probably just have it checked anyways. Or you can get a code reader and just figure it out yourself.

Thanks. I have made the appointment for next monday
but one more question, the light went off last thurs, of course i don't want it to come on again
But since the light is off now, would they able to found the problem?

Personally I would cancel your appointment since the system self corrected and the light went off. Only if it happens again would I take the time and effort to drag it into the dealership, which will no doubt use that visit to dig into your wallet somehow!

Sorry for raising this thread from the grave, but thought I'd note my recent experience.
Our 2010 GLK350 had the CEL come on. I removed, cleaned and reinstalled the gas-cap. This didn't resolve the issue.
Took it into the dealership and they found the thermostat was sending intermittent signals, causing the CEL. While the thermostat was still functioning, I still opted to replace it as the CEL would otherwise remain lit.

Glk 350 engine light question
I went to start my MB GLK and it would not start. It is trying to but did not. After 3 tries it started, however my check engine light is now on. I am traveling and not near a dealership.

Since you're traveling, I would take a wild guess and say it might be just bad gas that you're filling up along the way.

You should state the year of your GLK, as the direct injection engines behave differently from the earlier ones, and also mileage. If your vehicle failed to start on three attempts and the cause was weak ignition, or injector leakage, there is a good chance that the cat's threw an error from excess fuel. If an older truck, the temp sensor may have thrown an error if there was a big change in air temperature or other component problems. If the light goes out after several start cycles, and the vehicle starts ok, the dealer will read any fault codes when you next take it in for service. If it continues to be hard to start, have it looked at. Again there are many things with an older car that might happen such as dirty air sensor, weak battery, fouled cat's leaky injectors etc.
