Strange windoe problem

This started a couple weeks ago. The auto-up on the front passenger side doesn't work. I have to manually hold the button until the window is up all the way. The strange thing is when the window finally rolls up completely and I let my finger off of the button, the window rolls down about 2 inches on its own. When I roll it up a second time, it stays up fine. Is the window motor dying?

Oh forgot to mention that it's not a switch problem because the same thing happens if I roll the window up using the driver's or passenger's side control. Also, auto-down works fine.

none
no it's not dying. You just need to reset the limits on the motor. I did it before. I think you have to pull the window down and hold the switch open for like 3 seconds. Then pull it up to shut the window and that should allow it to relearn the limits.

I'll give that a try. That still doesn't explain while the auto feature doesn't work.
