tire suggestion?
Its almost time to change tires... i have the glk 350 base 235/50/19... shopping around for all weather tires (live in TX, no winter/snow driving here). any suggestions? Have the oem continental tires, wondering if there are other better options.

Welcome! I am in east Texas. I don't need tires, but I have shopped online for 20" tires in Houston and Tyler.. The selection is thin. If you are happy with the Contis stay with those. Discount Tire can get the OEM tires. You can look online if there is a Discount Tire store near you. I have the Pirelli OEM tires on the GLK and Volvo XC70. I plan to stay with those unless Michelin starts building my size. I tried Dunlop once and will not do that again.
We are headed to the NC mountains next week on 20" Pirellis. Stay tuned for an update on their semi-winter performance.
Let us know what you find out.

Ps: We have been in Texas since 2005. We have encountered snow every winter in Tyler and/or Houston. Make sure your all season tires have the winter mountain & snowflake icon on the sidewalls. I am pretty sure your Contis have that. I know the Pirelli OEM tires have it.
Good luck.

I just took at Discount Tire's web page. You don't have a lot of choice from them.
