Question Replacing Front Lights

Anyone in chicago that could help me replace the from eyelid, parking light, license plate, and H7 bulbs? I am willing to pay for the help and offer some great beverages in the process...if not, maybe someone could let me know which reliable quality shop could do this...

fyi....the parking lights are a PITA to do.

I tried for 15 mins and gave up....doesn't help my hands are NOT small.

Eyelid and blinkers are easy...rear plates are easy too.

For the low beams, are you going with an HID kit? I did that yesterday...easy, just time consuming.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.

My goal is to upgrade the eyelids and the DRL lightbulbs that are in the same housing as the highbeams to LEDs. I am hoping that using the JDM xenon white leds will produce a nice whitish/bluish color. The low beams, I plan to upgrade to a better H7 halogen (GE Platinum) to product a more white color. With these upgrades, I hope to get a pretty cool look upfront where I will not need to drill anything to install HIDs.

Any tips you could give me when trying to change the light bulbs?

(And yes, I do plan on changing the license plate bulbs to leds too =) )

Here's a tip: 5000 degrees Kelvin maximum.

5K would the highest ever if I would go the HID route, I prefer 4.7K...I am hoping that using the JDM leds with better halogen H7s will produce a nice front look...what do you guys think? Also, are the JDM leds the only ones you would recommend on using?

All I need now are tips on installation from your experiences...anything I should do or definitely avoid during installation?

Sorry, couldn't resist trying to see how many people's sip of beer would back feed through their nasal passages when they read this.

On a serious note, these things do kick up to 2500 (or is that 25K) volts, so be careful.
Look into a daily $18 subscription to StarTekinfo.com and print off what may be useful.
Post pics when done. Would love to see the result compared to my factory Xenons that should be here in 2 weeks!
