Did you use an point and shoot digital camera for the before and after pictures?
Most automatic exposure systems on those types of cameras will adjust the exposure to get the best possible picture and by doing this, cover up the differences when taking pictures with different light intensities by automatically adjusting their exposure setting to get the best average lighting across the picture. Some of the more advanced cameras will vary the degree of correction across different parts of the selected photo scene and selectively make those corrections without giving you a choice when or how those changes are applied. Pro cameras have a "RAW" mode which saves an extra copy of each picture with all of the adjustable parameters left unchanged so the photographer can choose which items he might want changed after the picture is saved in the cameras file system.
To get a proper pair of pictures to record what you are trying to capture here, you only need to have a camera that allows manual exposure control and then make sure that both before and after pictures are taken with the camera using exactly the same manual exposure settings for both pictures. This is the only way you can be assured that the pictures you end up with will show the actual differences between the two pictures.

I was trying to point out that before and after pictures with automatic cameras will be adjusted by the camera to show the best average lighting. If you are trying to show the difference between two different lighting situations, a digital automatic camera will adjust the pictures taken in a way that may make any real differences between the two lighting situations disappear.

HID installation pics...
Instead of drilling the cover with a large hole to pass the connectors and wires through....I decided to drill a small hole under the cover opening...make a cut to slide the wires in there...

I got that cool purple color at the top of the cutoff line...thanks to the projector lens. Anyone else notice this too?

Added the canbus SMD LEDs to my Reverse lights in my tails....
Even though the tail unit has a light smoked color...the white LEDs does shine through...and still no error codes.....canbus LEDs FTW!!!
