Once I can get an order guide ill update with new features, but netstar is showing Driver Assistance Pkg (Distronic), Parktronic with active park assist (same as found on new ML and CLS), and lane tracking pkg if you do not want distronic. We will have revisions though and as typical with most launches pricing is not available yet, I would expect it 30-60 days before the cars arrive at the dealerships.

Bluetecs are not available for ordering yet.

Parktronic with active park assist and the lane tracking pkg are two features I would have wanted. If I knew those features were to be available, I probably would have waited. That combined with the diesel may have been worth it.
Curious to see what the prices will be for 2013 now.

I hope that Distronic is also available in Canada as we plan to order a 2013 GLK in the fall. I wonder if it will have the new telematics as well? Looking forward to any information. Thanks.

The facelift will incorporate the NTG4.5 updates and in the US the new 2nd generation Mbrace system will be available, do not know if you guys get the Mbrace system in Canada.

I don't know. It appears that Mbrace is better than the Teleaid that is now offered in Canada. I will ask my salesman next time I am talking to him.

Just got the product sheet for the 2013 GLK in Canada. Looks like it has most of the options the ML has including park assist and the advanced driving package with Distronic. No price yet. PS they are going to offer a 250 diesel with the same options.

Been confirmed for a while, the question was a matter of when. It was supposed to be released in May 2011 but I think they held off until the facelift. Car should be at dealers in Nov.

I have been told that the 350's will be available this summer and the 250 diesel next spring of 2013. I want a 350 so I will order mine as soon as the price list is out.

The interior lighting package on my 2012 only included some small LED lighting in the door handles, I wonder if the 2013 will have similar ambient lighting to the re-designed ML, tres cool.

Looks cool, but won't that be a little too much/bright when driving at night? My father has a 2011 E-Class with similar lighting but less bright and it is quite tasteful. Call me old fashioned, but night driving can be hard on the eyes.

Just got the word production of 2013 GLK began in Bremen last week (first week of June.)

They had some pricing they didn't share with me as it was tentative. They suggested I contact the dealer, order one, and I would find out the price later. Kinda sounds like Nancy Pelosi! "Let's pass it and then we'll find out what is in it."

Question: On some of the cars, e.g. CL, it has been reported that one can turn off the "stop/start" engine feature I suppose through Comand. Can one do that on the new 2013 GLK 350 V6 in NA?

1. I also saw the article about Bremen.
2. I did order one but do not have pricing yet but I suspect it will be similar to the 2012 level as what happened with the 2012 C Class change from 2011.
3. Yes the stop/start is included in the 2013 GLK for North America. Not sure where the setting is but I suspect on the dash somewhere.
