Enabling Backup Camera - Small NAV Screen

I've searched numerous threads for the steps to enable a backup camera in my 2010 GLK, which has the small NAV screen and MMI; I do not have the COMAND feature.

I can not find the setting in any submenus that would enable the camera. My main menu in Engineering Mode appears in the attached photo. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

Very very slow
You need to have a 7 inches screen in order to get into the other menu's option.

Ouch! Does that mean my vehicle doesn't support an inexpensive backup camera retrofit?

I am afraid not.
Maybe Cartronics can help you out.

BLE2716: Thanks for the confirmation. If I retrofit any parking assist at this point, it will probably be the sensors. They, too, can be had for less than $100. I'd rather not spend >$500 on aftermarket cameras. I guess another option would be to look for a used 7" COMAND unit from a wreck.

Good luck with your choice(s).

Yes! That was thread that inspired me. I like his idea of putting everthing in the back to avoid fishing wires length of vehicle. Thanks again for your assistance.

I checked with the dealer, their response:

"...There is nothing supplied by Mercedes to support any procedure to do what you want. He does not recommend doing any alterations and to be aware that warranty claim might be an issue should a problem evolve...."

My question simply was if there was a video input on the Audio 20 head unit which would permit me to retrofit a rear view camera--Geesh!
