The New Guy Intro Thread (2013 GLK)
Hi Everyone. I ended up purchasing my 2013 GLK over the weekend. I had no intention of buying one, in fact I went to just go look at a used 2010 that was sitting on the lot and somehow walked out with a new 2013. This is my first entry into the SUV world as I have always had sports cars (Mustang Cobra's, CTS-V, 370Z) but I am getting married in a few months and needed a more "practical" car and have always loved the GLK. The 13 is just so nice and I am really enjoying it. I can't say the one I got is overly optioned but I feel like it is just rigth for me. I got the Premium Package 1 and the Multimedia Package with the Pano roof as well. I did opt for the Steel Grey color as well as I think it really looks fantastic. Here are some cruddy iPhone Pictures and I hope to be taking some good ones this coming weekend. My father has always been a MB guy and this is my first MB and I just love this car so far.

I took my C300 in for service and left with a new GLK. I know the feeling.
None of the cars on the lot had lighting package. I do wish I had it, but love the car nonetheless.

Two things I hate about GLK - lighting package and AMG styling.
LED lights too much bling for this supposed to look rugged car. Also it makes things rounded not matching to the overall look of GLK.
So congrats you have made a good choice
Well I am waiting for the diesel to hit the market.

The lighting package works so much better than the base equipment that looks are not a consideration, at least not for me.
