Post GLK 350 2013 external Hard Disk

I'm waiting for my car delivery in about 2 weeks and i was wondering what sort of external hard disk will be working fine (concerning the capacity and the brand) and when I go to the media site of Mercedes i cant find anything for the 2013 model and for the 2012 models the options are very limited and obsolete.......Thanks for your help in advance

Would a USB stick work for you? That's what I use with the Multi-Media package.

FAT32

The OM says it has to be formatted in FAT32 (or FAT) so it has the restrictions in size of that format. (No NTFS or HLS.)

Also it also says that this USB interface will only power 500ma so a 2 Tb USB HD like a Seagate portable maybe out.

Finally the OM claims to that the USB supports a limited number of WMA and MP3 formats only. No FLAC or 5.1 quality native. On the bright side it does recommend you burn CDs at the 44.1Khz standard to the stick for best sound.

If you have the HK system it will play DVDs in surround through the disk carousel. Whether it actually can hit the low and treble Hz dictated by the standards, more tests are needed.
