belt and tensioner
I got a loud, squeeking noise coming ftom the engine bay and when I open the hood I knew it was coming from the belt drive. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the belt and tensioner and the noise dissapeared and I was told that they just replaced 5 of these on other GLKs the same week. Now sometimes I hear it squeek for a few seconds and dissapears and I cant duplicate it enough to make me feel I need to bring the car back to get it looked at again. Do you guys ever experienced this before?

There may be an assembler out there in MB assembly land who believes that if the right amount of tension is good, more is better. If your tension-er failure was due to over tension, then any of the alternator, power steering, A/C etc. bearings may also be going bad and that is why you are hearing the occasional squeal. Tell the service manager about it right away so that when it does fail you are covered.
I assume that the belt was replaced, if not it might be worn and slipping, especially just after start-up.

The car only has 17k clicks on it and is still under waranty (2.5 years more). The belts where replaced as well but I hear it more during start ups then dissapears. I'll giblve them a call and ask about it.
