Where are 2013s built?
I was looking at some new 2013 GLKs and noticed their VIN plant identification has changed this year. It is now G. This is the letter towards the end of the VIN.
Previously it was F, which was Bremen, Germany.
A is Stuttgart Germany.
R is South Africa.
Those are some examples that I know.
Does anyone know what plant letter "G," is? Perhaps someone heard that the 2013 GLKs switched plants from Bremen (F) to somewhere else?
Thanks.
ps: Unconfirmed, heresay, Internet rumor has it that the GLK will join the C-Class production in Vance, Alabama in a year or two.
