Improve/replace standard MB sound system?
I have a 2012 GLK350 with a factory sound system which I dislike very much. Should have waited/found one w/logic 7 which can at least be adjusted.
Anyone been able to replace standard sound?

im actually looking into that right now...ive seen some radio upgrades from china with a large touch screen and more advanced ipod interface...some have built in GPS, DVD playback and with options to add a rear camera...but some do not offer a bluetooth option (its nice to use the hands free phone...and I actually use the dial pad on my MB...so to delete the dialpad and relocate it to the screen as a touch screen option is not very pleasing to me)... and I havent seen any of the aftermarket radios accept satellite radio.
as for speakers, Focal, JL and Boston are to me one of the best brands out there...they make direct replacement speakers and obviously you can add an amp.

and see what they have to fit the GLK...then research the one you want and find it cheaper somewhere...

change standard MB sound in GLK
Thanks. I would be willing to give up Blue tooth [which is nice] to fix the sound. My question is, is it possible to change it? A Logic 7 would work or an aftermarket would also work. I think the speakers are not the issue

Have you checked with local professional stereo installer?
I am sure any audio system is upgradable. It depends on how much are you willing to spend.
Regarding the factory audio system, I have command system, which I've found it's pretty darn good. I wouldn't pay extra for the HK system.
I have the JBL Synthesis sound system on my Sienna, and to be honest, I prefer the sound system on the GLK.
What type of audio source are you listening from? CD or MP3s?
