Whistling sound when flooring 2013 GLK350
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone also experienced this?
When I put it to S Mode, and step on the throttle maybe 2/3 through,
if it revs to 5000 rpm, the engine makes a whistling sound for the whole duration of the acceleration in first gear. It goes away after the car shifts to 2nd gear.
Just wondering if this is normal and what might be causing it

2013 MB GLK350
Mine does the same. I figured the S was for Supercharged and that is why it was whining... Totally Kidding. Mine does do this though and I thought to myself maybe something is wrong but it doesn't slip or anything so I just go with it until something seems wrong and then I would take it in.

mine does it too, i think its the first gear because the ratio is so low. It makes the same sound in Eco but only when you floor it. Normally it does not do it because the GLK 99% of the time starts in 2nd gear. It seems normal to me...
