MB tex replacement

So, I have the black mb tex seats in my GLK and my wonderful shih tzu's nails accidentally ripped the drivers seat. I've been searching online to attempt to find an aftermarket replacement but am not having any luck. At this point it seems the only option I have is to purchase the Mercedes replacement. Does anyone have any other ideas or know where I can go to get this done cheaper?

The likelihood of an after market shop having something to match is slim to none. Better take it back to MB and be prepared.

Before heading to the dealer, stop at an auto upholstery shop. A good one can do repairs on almost anything and you will never see it. You're not the first guy to have this kind of problem, and these shops can be awesome. Some of the best went out of business in the '80's when the government try to ban convertibles, but there are still some good ones around. Guys in "old car" clubs probably know the best ones. It seems you just get an upholstery job done then someone punches a holes with screwdrivers left in a back pocket or a tools that slipped.

A good auto upholstry shop can repair and the fix will be invisible. Had this done and blended perfectly.

My dog slit open one of the leather seats in a Jaguar I used to own. I talked to my dealer, and, he hooked me up with a seat repair guy who fixed it perfectly. It cost me $100 for the repair. Wouldn't hurt to ask the dealer about your problem and see if a repair is possible.

2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe; 2011 GLK 350 w/ Premium 1, Multimedia & Sport Appearance; I LOVE IT!
Yeah, those upholstery guys have all sorts of tricks to fix stuff like that.

Years ago my sister wore a hole in the carpet near the gas pedal in our father's Cadillac with her high heels. Dad really loved that Caddie so we were a bit worried. I don't remember how we found this shop but we took it in and the guy pulled out a rubber heel mat that matched the interior perfectly, squirted some glue on the back and stuck it in place.

It cost about $5, took 3 minutes, looked better than new and saved our butts!

It's always good to know a guy...
