I purchased a Ipod Int. kit for my 2010 GLK, i noticed in the manual its says in conjunction with the command or audio system..

I do not have the command, will this still ipod kit still work?

I have the HK Audio if that makes an differ.....Thanks, Kris....

At least there is integration kit on the market which is compliant with a non COMAND head: http://www.commandonline.co.uk/C-GLK...204-W212-W207/

Whether this is the case for your kit is to be seen (or not ).

i believe is what your talking about....says nothing about needing a command unit...So i think im good...

From a statement in the link I referred to: "iPod kit. This is the basic iPod kit that works with all head units and provides an iPod connection (normally in the main glovebox)." So you should be fine, and just in case not; you have a good case against the company.

Kindly, report back on the outcome.

iPod kit was installed without any problems..Works perfect and sounds great as well...Takes a few minutes to get used to how to find artists/songs, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be glad you have it....Although it kind of irritates me that a $15k Base Hyundai has seamless Bluetooth sharing and MB doesn't...Although not many Elantras turn heads like the silver arrows do....
