Eco?
What is the criteria for the ECO to turn green and turn the car off? Most of the time it is yellow. I don't drive very far from home to work so the green hasn't come on but once.
It you have the fan speed set manually ECO will rarely function.
Your headlights must also be in AUTO mode.
If at a long traffic light.... let off the brake after about 10 seconds and roll forward a couple of feet. ECO will usually enable. I now try to leave a little distance to the car in front at a traffic light so I can roll forward a few feet after 10 or so seconds of being stopped.
This has allowed ECO to function much much more frequently.
- the indicator lamp in the ECO button is lit green;
- the outside temperature is within the comfort range;
- the engine is at normal operating temperature;
- the set temperature for the vehicle interior has been reached;
- the battery is sufficiently charged.
- the system detects that the windshield is not fogged up when the air-conditioning system is switched on;
- the hood is closed;
- the driver's door is closed and the driver's seat belt is fastened;
