Hello from a mod freak!
Hey guys, I swore in my younger days I would never own a Benz, but looks like I'm eating my words... This is is for the missus though. 2010 GLK350 4Matic.

I was initially thinking going the Brabus route, but after a couple of ignored calls by their US division, I started looking for another tuner. I also briefly thought about just making my own GLK AMG version, but where's the fun in that?

The next step was to get proper tires to wrap these in. The Lorinser recommended sizes were not available online or for crazy prices so I went extremely low pro on some Falkens I saw online. Then I had o search for shops who could mount them. After a three day ordeal, I finally got the sensors, lug nuts, etc all sorts. So, here they are mounted.

Looking good! I have a set of take off 2013 20" Appearance Group wheels to go on our 2010. These have the charcoal grey finish with the faces polished. Have a set of alloy roof rails to replace the black rails that came on it. Having the rails stripped presently & leaning toward having them powder coated in a charcoal grey instead of the aluminum finish. Nothing wrong with stepping out!

Sidewall looks like a rubber band! Wheels look great. To help avoid pot holes, a set of H&R lowering springs will improve handling & bring it down about an inch all around. Tire Rack sells them. Wonder if lowering springs will void the warranty....

Update: Lorinser rep from Germany stopped responding to my emails. And this was back in June. So, I'm seeing if their US reps are better at selling me a set of their springs. If not, then it's time to ditch them like I ditched Brabus.

It's been a while since I updated, but the Lorinser guys seem to be even more of a hassle to deal with than Brabus. So I went through the folks over at KarToyz, and started up the Brabus route again.
