2013 MB GLK350
2013 GLK350 - Radio Problems
New owner of a 2013 GLK - this morning as I was driving into work, my FM, AM & WB radio stations went out..... you can tune to a station, works for 2 seconds then it goes silent...... Satelitte radio and iphone connections work fine..... any idea what it is? Before I call the dealership and jack up a service fee, I figured I would check the forum. I'm hoping it's operator error

Sounds like a software issue; you probably need either an update or a reboot.
Why would you incur (jack up?) a service fee? It's under warranty, I assume...

When you tune to a station does it play for 2 seconds and then go out or is it that you turn off the radio turn it back on and then it plays for 2 seconds? The later sounds like an IC in the radio power supply that has gone bad, the former a bad tuning chip. Because it is the same on AM, FM and WB it does not sound like a bad RF amplifier. I assume the other audio still functions and you still see the screen
